Regional Fundraising Committees

The six Regional Fundraising Committees and Support Groups provide an enormous help to the Fundraising Department. They not only organise fundraising events, but help to spread the message of what Hospice Care is.

Regional Fundraising Committees/Support Groups

Northern, covering Ramsey and the Ayres

Michael, for Kirk Michael, Ballaugh & Jurby

Peel and Glenfaba, for the West of the Island

Onchan, Middle & Laxey covering an area from Onchan through to Santon

Douglas & Marown covering Douglas and surrounding areas including Glen Vine and Union Mills

Castletown & Malew, including Ballasalla and Ballabeg

These Committees organise their own fund-raising events, with office backup from the Fundraising Team when needed. They have been valuable ambassadors and the public face of Hospice Care from the beginning. Their continued enthusiasm and sheer hard work has resulted in a truly remarkable annual financial contribution. The type of events organised by the Regional Committees are varied and imaginative. There is always an event on somewhere on the Island, giving enjoyment, entertainment, and value for money, thus providing valued income for patient care.
