Nurse Practitioners

Integrated Palliative and End of Life Care

(Band 6)


Hospice Isle of Man is looking to develop Nurse Practitioner posts to take forwards its strategy to deliver Integrated Palliative and End of Life to all patients and families in the Isle of Man, wherever and whenever they need it.

Through a comprehensive development programme, the Nurse Practitioner will be developed to deliver expert holistic care for patients in the community, hospital, care home, or Hospice. An ability to communicate well with others is essential, as through this role, the Nurse Practitioner will enable other professionals to feel confident to care for patients at the end of life, and families will feel supported in caring for their loved ones.

At least 2 years’ experience in palliative care, and a relevant degree (or working toward one) is essential. Middle management skills and a clean driving licence are also desirable.

If you do not already hold an appropriate mentorship qualification, you must be willing to undertake a module in Learning and Assessment in Professional Education (NM7 036) at LEVEL 7 (MASTERS).

Hospice Isle of Man requires a Marketing Apprenticeship

An exciting opportunity exists for an energetic and motivated person to work with our Fundraising Team

This is an ideal opportunity for a junior marketer interested in a career in marketing to develop experience in an excellent local not for profit organisation. Our likely candidate will possess the following skills.


  • A proactive and positive attitude
  • A good understanding of digital marketing techniques
  • Analytical and writing skills are essential
  • Creative and able to undertake small graphic projects
  • Experience of working in a team; also able to work independently
