We continue to face unprecedented times and follow Government guidance. Due to the fantastic effort of the community response and in line with the Governments strategy “Stay Safe”, we have been regularly reviewing the situation, and are pleased to be able to resume some of our services, adapting practice where appropriate.
The clinical team have been busy, not only continuing to deliver care to our patients, but also reviewing all of our services and assessing when it is most appropriate to return to normal delivery. This is done by prioritising the needs of our patients whilst understanding the importance of maintaining social distancing to protect the island and our community.
We have started by recommencing some of our visits to new Hospice referrals within Nobles and contacting our respite patients to assess their needs and when possible and safe to offer support.
We are continuing to monitor the situation and are responding regularly to DHSC announcements.
