Temporary refocus of delivery of adult Drop in Services, Fatigue and Breathlessness group and Singing for Lung Health group

Whilst there are currently no confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in the Isle of Man and the risk to the public remains low, we are temporarily refocusing how we deliver care and services to patients who routinely meet as a group by supporting them to stay safe and well at home by avoiding group sessions. Services included in this temporary arrangement are our Adult Drop in Services at Hospice at Strang, and in Ramsey Town Hall, our Fatigue and Breathlessness group and our Singing for Lung Health group. Patients who have regular support needs will continue to have individual appointments or be supported at home with either telephone contact or visits at home by hospice staff or volunteers.

At present none of our other services are affected, however we are responding to announcements on a regular basis from the DHSC as this is a rapidly evolving situation please visit this area of our website for regular updates regarding our services.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to our patients and families but your safety is our first priority.
