Visiting Guidance during COVID-19 Circuit Break

At Hospice, it is our pleasure to care for people with life-limiting illnesses, supporting them to live well, their way, to the end of their lives.

We feel it is important that at this time, we take reasonable measures to protect the wellbeing of those using our services, our staff and volunteers.

Our In-Patient Unit remains open; however, please note that we are now restricting visitor access to the Hospice site to reduce the risk of spreading of COVID-19 in the community. If you have a loved one using our In-Patient services, we kindly ask that you follow the guidance below when visiting.

  • We are so sorry but only one designated visitor will be allowed to visit at the time of care related to end of life. We will provide accommodation in our hospice for the designated person to stay-in during the period in which they are planning on visiting.
  • If you are not the one designated visitor we kindly request that you make contact by phone or video calling to stay in touch with your family or friend. Our staff can help facilitate this for you.
  • We will ask you to sanitise your hands with the hand gel provided when you arrive and wear the PPE we will provide you with throughout your visit.

We sincerely apologise that we have to be so restrictive, but the safety of our whole Island depends on our collective response. We thank you most kindly for your understanding.
