What is it all about?

In 2019, we will be launching our first ever public art event ‘Wallabies Gone Wild’, in association with Wild In Art.

Wild in Art is the global leader in the organisation of mass participation public art events which bring together artists, communities and schools with private and public organisations to create memorable and significant events for all to enjoy.

Our event will not only offer endless hours of fun for residents and visitors but will help to create community cohesion, have a positive economic and social impact and will raise funds that will enable us to provide care that benefits even more patients, carers and families within our community.

How to get involved?

Partners & Sponsors

Wild in Art events are hugely popular wherever they take place, offering an excellent return on your investment whether through staff engagement, supporting local initiatives or driving sales and footfall.

To find out how you can become a partner or sponsor download our Business Information Pack.

Artists

The aim of Wallabies Gone Wild is to promote the importance of creativity the Island has to offer. We are offering artists to submit up to 3 designs which will go before a panel with successful commissions being chosen by a sponsor at our selection event.

For more information you can download the Artist Information Pack.

To submit your design you will need to complete a Wallaby Template Document and Artist Submission form.

Schools

As part of the Learning Programme, each school or youth group that pledges to raise £1,000 over a 12 month period for Hospice Isle of Man will be given a blank medium sized wallaby sculpture to design, decorate, display, and then keep for themselves.

As part of the programme, in addition to the sculpture itself, schools will also receive a learning programme resource pack, containing a resource booklet including classroom guides, lesson plans, fundraising support and health and well-being suggestions.

To find out more download your School Information Pack here.
