Singing for Lung Health is a group-based rehabilitative session that helps improve lung health for anyone who suffers with breathing difficulties.
But don't worry, there are no auditions or solos required!
Led by a singing teacher and supported by the Hospice Rehabilitation Team, the sessions focus on teaching you how to breathe more slowly and deeply, manage breath control, reduce anxiety and panic as well as improve your posture.
The sessions are a fun and sociable way to improve quality of life and manage the symptoms of lung conditions in a healthy, positive way.
Singing for Lung Health is held every Friday morning from 11am-12pm in our Scholl Wellbeing Centre and is completely free. So why not come along and give it a try? You’ll learn new skills, meet new people, have fun and you can grab a coffee or have lunch at our onsite café whilst you’re here.
