Ethical Issues in Palliative Care

I gained additional communication skills and knowledge on how to deal with patients and relatives to answer their questions, telling the truth based on guided ethical principles.

 

A session for all healthcare professionals to explore ethical issues surrounding palliative healthcare provision.

Discuss ethical issues and dilemmas that may arise in Palliative Care and at the end of life (EOL).

• Describe advance directives and their role in preventing ethical dilemmas.
• Apply ethical principles utilised in addressing Palliative Care/EOL dilemmas.
