Isle of Man Parish Walk 2022

170 years ago John Cannell of Douglas set off on horseback to complete his mission of touching the doors of all seventeen Parish churches on the Isle of Man. It is believed to have taken him (or rather his horse because he just sat and steered!) 15 hours to complete that very first Parish walk, and he did it in the opposite direction to the route walked today.

All these years later the tradition continues and whether you are an experienced Parish walker, or this is your very first time, why not sign up to walk for Hospice in 2022?  We have a main #teamhospice which is for everyone, whether you are going for the full route or a section, and for 2022 we have our #15in15 team who will be walking 15 miles to raise funds specifically for Rebecca House Children’s Hospice 15^th anniversary year. Whichever team you join you can be assured of a warm welcome, camaraderie, and a welcome pack which will include a hi-vis vest (required to be worn if taking part).
