Be part of this World famous event and run 26.2 miles to raise money for Hospice Isle of Man! The world’s greatest marathon, from wherever you are – it’s your chance to take part and Run Your Way!
This year, the Virgin London Marathon organiser's are also inviting participants to run the London Marathon in their own way, joining up to 100,000 runners up and down the UK, and across the world.
The virtual 2021 Virgin Money London Marathon will take place on Sunday 3rd October and participants will have 23 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds (from 00:00 to 23:59:59 BST) to complete the 26.2 miles, which you can choose to run, walk or jog – making the event the most inclusive London Marathon ever. You can complete your Marathon from absolutely wherever you choose!
Taking part in the Virgin Money London Marathon, your way, also means participants can be creative with the challenge that lies ahead! Ideas include:

Being dropped 26.2 miles from home and running back to a hero’s welcome

Completing each mile with a different running buddy, sharing the challenge with friends and family

Getting together with a group of friends to walk the 26.2 miles together

Creating a unique course that visits the homes of friends and family so they can set up outdoor drinks stations for a refuel and catch-up over an energy bar
Everyone who takes part and completes the virtual marathon even gets an official 2021 London Marathon medal and t shirt!
