Raad Ny Foillan Challenge

The Isle of Man charity Diana Princess of Wales Hospice Care at Home Trust has launched its third Raad Ny Foillan Challenge and is inviting locals to participate in helping reach a £20,000 fundraising goal by August 2021.

The Challenge involves walking the whole of the famous Raad Ny Foillan coastal footpath. In order to enable as broad a participation as possible, the Challenge breaks up the 100-mile route into over 15 ‘legs’, with one leg being undertaken each month up until its conclusion in August 2021.

Each leg will be undertaken on the last Sunday of each month. 

All funds raised by the Trust go towards paying the specialist nursing costs involved in providing home hospice services for Isle of Man residents wishing to spend their last days at home. All funds donated to the Trust are used exclusively to offer end of life care for Manx residents and all fundraising work undertaken by the Trustees is done on a voluntary basis.

A suggested minimum donation of £10 per adult walker, per leg, is advised.

Once you have registered for the walk, you will be added to a Whatsapp Group which will keep you informed of any changes to the walk that may occur due to the weather.
