Trailmakers Progress

Thank you for the support

It’s hard to believe that we’re now past the halfway point in the Wallabies Gone Wild art trail and we would like to take this opportunity to say thank to all of our Trailmakers for their ongoing hard work and support, and SMP Group for sponsoring this  vital role in the trail.

Hospice Isle of Man have been overwhelmed by the popularity of the trail and we are so proud of everyone who has helped contribute towards its resounding success.

Since the launch, our trailmaker volunteers have dedicated a combined 633 hours to helping with the Wallabies Gone Wild art trail and we couldn’t be more grateful. We hope they have all found their time to be fun and rewarding.

The level of engagement with the trail has been phenomenal and we hope everyone is enjoying being a part of this popular event which is taking the Isle of Man by storm this summer.

Did you know that since the launch..

  • 3,448 people have downloaded the mobile app
  • 4,674 photographs have been uploaded to the app galleries
  • The wallabies have been unlocked more than 50,000 times
  • More than 15,000 paper trail maps have been distributed

We couldn’t have achieved all of this without our Trailmakers and their invaluable support and we look forward to continuing to have them on the team for the duration of the trail.

Although we’ve come this far, we still need the help of trailmaker volunteers for our shops and events, including the farewell weekend on 21/22 September. If you or anybody you know has some spare time on their hands, we would love to hear from you.
