An innovative partnership between Van Mossel Jacksons, Motor Mall and Hospice Isle of Man continues to make a meaningful difference for local families, with £26,040 raised for Rebecca House Children’s Hospice in 2025 alone.
Launched in February 2022, the initiative sees Van Mossel Jacksons donate £30 for every vehicle sold, while inviting customers to match the contribution with a further £30. The result has been a sustained and growing source of support, with a total of £225,722 raised between February 2022 and December 2025.
The 2025 total of £26,040 was formally presented at a recent cheque handover, with Regional Market Area Director Steve Bellis joined by Vanessa Smith, Head of Income Generation at Hospice Isle of Man, and Andy Bibby, Group Aftersales Director.
Vanessa Smith said the impact of this level of support is significant: “This kind of consistent, committed fundraising makes a real difference to the care we can provide. Contributions at this level can help fund essential frontline roles and ensure that babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions receive the specialist care they need, when they need it most.”
Steve Bellis added: “We’re incredibly proud of what this partnership has achieved. It’s something our team and our customers have really embraced, and we’re grateful to everyone who has contributed. Knowing that each vehicle sale can directly support local families gives real purpose to what we do.”
Everyone at Hospice Isle of Man has extended their thanks to the Van Mossel Jacksons team and their customers for their continued generosity.
Every pound raised goes directly towards supporting some of the island’s most vulnerable babies, children and young people, and the families who care for them.
