Course Content

We will be offering this course as Bespoke training at your place of work. Please contact the Education team to arrange a teaching date.

At the end of the course I will be able to:

  • Recognise when someone is in the last days of life

  • Manage common symptoms

  • Understand the importance of holistic care

  • Understand the interventions required to support individuals and their families

  • Understand the process of verification of an expected adult death

  • Understand the benefits of anticipatory medication

Course duration: 3.5 hours (for HCAs / Clinical Support Services & 7 hours for Registered professionals
