How do referrals work?

If you feel you could benefit from our support, the best first step is to discuss your options with a medical professional currently involved in your care. This could be your GP, consultant, district nurse, specialist nurse or any other healthcare provider. They will then be able to submit a formal referral to us on your behalf.

We require this clinical referral because it provides our team with essential medical context, such as your diagnosis, ongoing treatments, and current medications. Combining this vital medical background with the personal insights you and your family share allows us to design the best possible care plan for you.
