A Huge Thank You to Spar and Mannin Retail!

We are incredibly grateful to SPAR Isle of Man and Mannin Retail for their outstanding support of Hospice Isle of Man over the past two years – raising an amazing £19,429.73 (and counting!) to support our Hospice Care.

Here's how that incredible total breaks down:

• Collection boxes: £8,056.62
• Sandwich sales: £9,000.00 – including matched donations from Mannin Retail
• Raffles: £2,373.11 (with more to come!) In 2025 alone, an incredible £10,551.88 has already been raised and that’s before the Lindt Father Christmas raffle total is announced!

From sandwiches and wraps to raffles and collection boxes, every penny raised goes directly toward funding our Hospice at Home nurses, who deliver compassionate care to patients in their own homes across the Island. This wonderful initiative mirrors SPAR UK’s partnership with Marie Curie, but with a local focus – ensuring funds raised in Manx SPAR stores stay on-Island to support local people and families. Special thanks to Vic van den Heever, Jonathon Kermode, Yvonne Byron, all the Spar store managers and the team at Mannin Retail for championing this local cause, and to SPAR UK for backing a partnership that truly puts the community first.
