Afternoon Tea for Rebecca House Families

On Sunday 27th April, we hosted a lovely Afternoon Tea at Elaine’s Café for the wonderful mums and carers connected to Rebecca House. It was a chance to unwind, enjoy some delicious sweet treats, and connect with others in a relaxed, friendly setting.

We were thrilled to receive such kind feedback from families who joined us:

“The Afternoon tea gave myself and my daughter and lovely chance to get together. We both really loved it and hope that it will happen again. I have never had an afternoon tea so this was a real treat. Thank you girls for all the effort you put in, it was such a lovely idea”

“We really enjoyed the tea party. It really brings out our inner ‘madhatter’. Tea parties are kind of our mummy daughter thing to do and it was really nice to be able to do it with Rebecca House. It was a lovely idea”

“We really loved the Afternoon tea, it was an amazing opportunity for myself and my daughter to have girl time together and a fantastic way to get to know other mums and share stories but also to get to know staff members on a deeper level too in a relaxed setting something many mums don’t get to do in everyday life. We look forward to the next one”

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make the afternoon so special.
