Create a Lasting Tribute at Hospice Isle of Man’s Memory Meadow 2026

Following the success of the inaugural Memory Meadow event in 2025, Hospice Isle of Man is proud to announce the return of their meadow this July and the community is invited to be part of something truly special.

This year, the event is kindly supported by the Rotary Club of Douglas - Lockington Marshall Fund, and the transport of the flowers is supported by The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company (IOMSPC) Manx Community Assistance Scheme.

Running from Thursday 9th to Sunday 12th July 2026, the tranquil Hospice Gardens will once again transform into a sea of beautiful vibrant flowers, each one dedicated to someone dearly loved and deeply missed.

This year’s featured tribute flower is a beautifully handcrafted pink Campion. With its delicate, heart-shaped petals symbolising love and affection, the Campion offers a touching and meaningful way to honour someone special while adding a new vibrant splash of colour to the Memory Meadow display.

Vanessa Smith, Head of Income Generation at Hospice Isle of Man, said,

“Last summer we hosted our first ever Memory Meadow in the Hospice Gardens, displaying hundreds of blue Forget Me Not flowers, transforming the area into a beautiful space to honour and celebrate loved ones, whether they were cared for by Hospice Isle of Man or not.

We sold out of last year’s flowers, and lots of people were disappointed to miss out, so alongside our new pink Campions, we also have a limited run of the blue Forget Me Nots available. We really can’t wait to see the display in full bloom again in July, once again making a meaningful impact on the lives of those who need Hospice Support.

We’d also like to extend our thanks to the Rotary Club of Douglas - Lockington Marshall Fund who have kindly supported the event for 2026.”

Each Memory Meadow flower includes a personalised leaf dedication and flower pin badge to wear in tribute. You will then be able to take your flower home after the event as a lasting keepsake

Visitors are warmly invited to view the meadow and collect their flowers at the following times:

  • Thursday 9th July: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
  • Sunday 12th July: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

During these times, guests can wander through the gardens, pause for reflection, enjoy light refreshments, and experience the powerful sight of the meadow in full bloom.

If you’re unable to attend in person, flowers and pin badges can be posted for a small additional charge.

All money raised through the Memory Meadow will go towards supporting the work of everyone at Hospice, supporting patients and their loved ones when they need it most. For more information on ordering you flower, please visit our website.
