Hospice Welcomes Political Members to Discuss Future of Charity

Recently, we were honored to welcome the Chief Minister, Alfred Cannan, the Minister for Health and Social Care, Claire Christian, and various MHKs and MLCs to Hospice Isle of Man. These visits provided a valuable opportunity for our political leaders to see firsthand the incredible work we do, as well as to engage in deep discussions about the future of palliative and end-of-life care on the Island.

Over five insightful meetings, our political colleagues toured our vibrant, fully active facility and discussed key aspects of our ‘2024 Impact Report’. One major focus was ensuring secure, sustainable funding for the future of Hospice Isle of Man and the essential services we provide, both here and in the wider community.

Chief Minister, Alfred Cannan, shared his thoughts: “I’d like to thank Hospice Isle of Man for the opportunity to visit their invaluable facility and to discuss together some of the financial issues facing all of our healthcare services.”

Thank you to everyone who visited and for your continued support!
