Hospice Care Week 2025 - Volunteers

This week is Hospice Care Week and the theme is “Hospice care is more than you think” and nowhere is that more true than in the incredible contribution of our volunteers.

In 2024 alone, our volunteers gave their time, skills, and kindness freely, saving Hospice Isle of Man an astonishing £931,303. That’s nearly a million pounds that didn’t have to be spent, thanks to their generosity and dedication.

Every hour donated means more care for our patients, more support for their families, and the ability to provide vital services that wouldn’t be possible otherwise. From fundraising and shop support to patient care, events, and behind-the-scenes tasks, our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do.

From everyone here at Hospice Isle of Man, thank you for making such a huge difference.
