Hospice and Firefighters Charity Walk 2026

Join us for a memorable charity challenge walk supporting Hospice Isle of Man and the Island’s Firefighters. This special event brings together community, endurance, and breathtaking scenery for a cause that truly matters.

About the Walk

Generously sponsored by Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management, this 50km challenge walk follows much of the official Peel-to-Ramsey section of the iconic Parish Walk.

While the walk will be timed, it is non-competitive and designed to be inclusive and enjoyable. Whether you’re using it as a training walk for the Parish Walk or taking on a personal endurance challenge, participants are encouraged to walk at their own pace and enjoy the journey.

Route & Checkpoints

After signing on at Peel Fire Station, the walk will start from Peel Promenade and follow the stunning coastline and countryside northwards:

• Kirk Michael Fire Station – 11km
  Checkpoint & Water Station
• Jurby Church – 22km
  Checkpoint & Water Station
• Bride Church – 33km
  Checkpoint & Water Station
• Andreas Village – 38km
  Checkpoint & Water Station
• Lezayre Church – 47km
  Final Checkpoint & Water Station

The walk finishes at Ramsey Fire Station, where the Hospice Coffee Van will be waiting with well-earned refreshments for all participants.

Everyone is welcome. Whether you’re a seasoned Parish Walk regular or tackling your first long-distance walk, this event offers a relaxed, supportive atmosphere with spectacular coastal and rural views along one of the Island’s most loved routes.
