Rebecca House Children’s Hospice is delighted to announce that Lady Peta Cavendish has accepted the role of Patron for the charity. Lady Cavendish is a dedicated advocate for children and families, and will bring her warmth, passion, and personal experience to help further the mission of Rebecca House.
Lady Cavendish, who balances a very full diary of business commitments with being a mother of five, shared her enthusiasm about the new role: “Family is a huge part of my life, and anyone who is raising children knows how demanding it can be. If your child has health challenges then this adds another, very significant, layer of complexity, stress and emotional toll, so you need all the support you can get. For families on the Isle of Man, this is where Rebecca House comes in. The services provided, free of charge, by Rebecca House to children on Isle of Man with life limiting conditions are literally a lifeline, and I am proud to support this work in any way I can.”
The addition of Lady Cavendish as Patron marks an exciting new chapter for Rebecca House Children’s Hospice, which provides vital care and support to children with life-limiting conditions and their families. With Peta’s endorsement, the charity is looking forward to further consolidating its reach and offering even more support to the community.
Vicky Wilson, Head of Children and Young People at Rebecca House Children’s Hospice, expressed his excitement: “We are absolutely delighted that Lady Cavendish has agreed to become the Patron of Rebecca House Children’s Hospice. Her passion for family and her deep understanding of the challenges parents face will be invaluable to our work. Peta’s commitment to supporting our charity will help raise awareness and continue the critical support we provide to families in the Isle of Man.”
Lady Cavendish’s involvement will help ensure that Rebecca House can continue to make a positive impact, offering families a place of comfort, understanding, and care.
