Hospice Isle of Man has announced a temporary closure of its Hospice Superstore, located in Spring Valley Industrial Estate in Douglas, to allow for essential building maintenance and improvements.
Ahead of the closure, the Superstore will be hosting a special Easter Mega Sale from Tuesday 7 April to Friday 10 April, open daily from 10am to 4pm. Customers are encouraged to visit and take advantage of great bargains before the store temporarily closes.
The Superstore will then close from Saturday 11th April to complete the necessary works. While the shop will not be open for sales during this time, the team will continue to welcome donations. Members of the public can drop off items Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 3pm, and all contributions remain greatly appreciated.
Although the works are expected to take a couple of weeks, Hospice is not yet able to confirm an exact reopening date. Once the improvements are completed and everything is on schedule, an announcement will be made to update the public. Hospice appreciates the community’s patience and will share further information as soon as it becomes available.
For those wishing to donate furniture, collections can still be arranged during the closure period, with pick-ups scheduled for when the store reopens towards the end of April, this can be done by telephoning the team on 615055 (option 1). A confirmed reopening date will be announced once all works are complete and everything is on schedule.
These improvements represent a long-term investment in the Superstore, supporting increasing demand and the continued growth of Hospice’s retail network across the Island. Funds raised through Hospice shops play a vital role in supporting the delivery of patient care services.
During the temporary closure, supporters are reminded that they can continue to shop at Hospice’s other locations around the Island, including stores on Bucks Road, Strand Street, and Duke Street in Douglas.
Hospice Isle of Man would like to thank the community for their continued support and patience during this period, ensuring that as much funding as possible can go directly towards patient care.
